Savage Arms recently attended and participated in the 2023 National R3 Symposium in Albuquerque, New Mexico May 22-25, 2023. The event was delivered by The Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports and attended by hundreds of representatives of state/national agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGO) and hunting, shooting, sports, fishing and outdoor industries across the country. In addition to contributions at the event, Savage’s commitment to R3 is significant and ever-growing.
Savage partners with many organizations that engage in boots-on-the-ground R3 efforts. The company is proud to work in tandem with entities that focus on conservation, mentorship and education. Several Savage partners run unique programming to educate new hunters and shooters, have women-led chapters, host youth events and mentored hunts and more.
Savage Digital Marketing Specialist Kristin Boeshart spoke on the Industry Engagement in R3 Panel at the recent event. Facilitating relationships between industry and NGO/agency professionals on the R3 front is a constant topic of conversation. To accurately contribute to this conversation, the panel of industry professionals discussed current efforts and sparked some new ideas for creative partnerships moving forward.
“Everyone in the R3 community is marching towards the same goal – to preserve the future of hunting and shooting sports,” said Boeshart. “We’re committed to doing our part by bringing innovative new products to the market, creating educational content and partnering with organizations that share our values. The outdoors is for everyone, and we have the opportunity to shout it from the mountaintop through our platforms.”
“We were honored by the invitation to participate in the Industry Engagement panel discussion. We came away with many new ideas to recruit, retain and reactivate hunters and shooters. We hope R3 practitioners at state agencies and non-government organizations find value in what industry brands and manufacturers like Savage bring to the table. Attending and speaking at the 2023 National R3 Symposium was a great opportunity for us to learn more about what challenges the R3 community is facing and how Savage can be a better partner.”
