The results are in for the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s (CMP) first rifle and pistol League Matches.

The CMP’s League Matches were introduced in early 2022, featuring Outdoor Pistol, Highpower Rifle and CMP Games Rifle events. Participants competed by firing at a host range, with scores submitted and averaged within CMP’s online Competition Tracker system. 

Awards are distributed to the top competitors from around the country. To qualify, competitors were required to fire at least three times over the course of the League, with average scores used to determine places first through third. In those events with a total of four participants, only the overall winner was awarded.

The Outdoor Pistol League Matches ran from May 1 to Oct. 31, 2022, and included 900 Pistol Aggregate matches and 30 Shot National Match Course (NMC) events.

MDT is excited to announce the launch of our new SRS-X Elite Buttstock Weight.

This weight is designed to fit the new MDT SRS-X Elite buttstock, found on the MDT ACC Elite. It will add about 0.75 lb to the rear of your rifle in order to properly balance your chassis system. As the weight is fairly far from the standard center of gravity of the chassis, it has a profound effect on balance and is recommended for competitors wanting to offset the weight of an MTU/Straight barrel or heavier muzzle device.

The weight is specific to the corresponding pocket on the SRS-X Elite and attaches via 2x #10-24 screws from the backside of the weight, via the buttstock. Vice Adm. Szymanski has served in a number of Navy and Joint Special Operations assignments as a Navy Special Warfare Officer (SEAL) for over 36 years. He most recently served as the Deputy Commander for United States Special Operations Command after previously serving as the Commander of Naval Special Warfare. In both roles he oversaw the manning, equipping and training, and employment of NSW and joint special operations forces. 

In addition to his dedicated time in the service, he also led initiatives to improve human performance and protect brain health across special operations. Kansas City, KS (January 19, 2023) – New for the US market in 2023, CZ USA introduces two optics-ready and suppressor-ready P-10 pistols to its lineup. The full-sized P-10 F OR SR and compact P-10 C OR SR models inherit all the performance-driven features of the P-10 series. 

Like all P-10 series pistols, CZ engineered the P-10 OR SR models for reliability, outstanding accuracy, extended service life, and shooting comfort. The barrel and fiberglass-reinforced frame and slide feature an incredibly durable finish, protecting them from mechanical damage and the elements. 

Both pistols feature a modified slide for attaching a red dot sight and an extended barrel with 1/2“×28 threads for mounting a suppressor. Both models ship with extended mag bases, adding two rounds to the standard mag capacity. OR SR pistols come equipped with iron sights with three luminescent dots for quick and intuitive aiming in low light. The iron sights co-witness perfectly with an RMR mounted on the slide. And their chamfered edges ensure smooth handling.

Ergonomics and comfort are at the forefront of the P-10 OR SR’s design. Deep serrations on the front and rear of the slide improve grip for ease of operation, while prominent grip checkering provides superb shooting comfort, stability, and safety. CZ also includes three interchangeable backstraps for customizing fit and reach to the trigger. 

Shooters will love the ambidextrous features of the P-10 pistols. A flat ambidextrous slide stop suits right- and left-handed shooters while allowing for comfortable handling with the non-dominant hand; the flat design makes it ideal for concealed carry. A swappable magazine release is fast, intuitive, and comfortable on either side. The P-10 OR SR’s sophisticated grip and checkering incorporate the modern ergonomic design for a sure grip and a user-friendly experience. 

The SPYPOINT LM2 is the evolution of the revolution. EDGEFIELD, S.C. — During the American Wildlife Conservation Partners press conference – hosted at the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s annual SHOT Show – NWTF co-CEO Jason Burckhalter commended the AWCP and discussed the NWTF’s involvement in advocating for legislation that benefits America’s natural resources and sportsmen and women.

Burckhalter said it takes all of our organizations working together to ensure our future generations experience our natural resources as we do today. Since its founding, he continued, the AWCP has profoundly affected America’s wildlife and wild places.

The AWCP is a consortium of 50 organizations that represent the interests of America’s millions of hunters, conservationists and professional wildlife and natural resource managers.

Burckhalter noted the significant successes of AWCP from the 117th Congress, including the unprecedented Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that resulted in the NWTF signing a 20-year, $50 million national master stewardship agreement with the USDA Forest Service. 

He also lauded the passage of the MAPLand Act and the REPLANT Act but said that there is still much to accomplish, namely getting the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act signed into law and establishing a new law that prevents special interest groups from inhibiting the NWTF’s conservation delivery on public lands nationwide.
