Uncharted Supply Co Park Pack Review

Stepping out of the door from your vehicle, you should always have at the bare minimum a first aid kit, some food, some water and a basic survival kit. If your dog is with you, you should try to have twice as much water as you think you will need. In the summer and on short bomb off trips, I like to go as light as I possibly can. When I first saw the Park Pack from Uncharted Supply Co, I was interested in learning more. The Park Pack comes with a basic triage kit, two water bottles and a fanny pack that hugs your hip and secures tightly with a cinch strap and buckle.

I have learned my lesson on more than one occasion to have the tools that I need in as light of a pack as I can so that I will carry it into the field. My first elk hunt taught me that lesson. We were heading up the ridge to check a valley below and we were not planning on being away from the truck for more than 30 minutes. We saw elk, went after them and three hours in, I reached in my pack and all I had was a Capri-Sun. Luckily, that Capri-Sun wrapper went back into my pack because a few hours later with a little MacGyver move we slit the top, turned it into a cup and drank about a gallon of water out of a snow melt stream on the side of the mountain after recovering my first elk. We were away from the truck for 13 hours in total and walked a little over nine miles. Lesson learned.

Since then, I have overloaded packs with the idea that having more tools will keep me out of trouble. As I have gotten older and wiser, the best idea is having the right tools in the right pack that I will actually carry. At various times that might mean a full pack, a bird hunting vest or something as lightweight and easy to carry as the Park Pack from Uncharted Supply Co.

The Park Pack is as sturdy as they come. It is built with a water proof 600 denier Tarpaulin shell, a 210 denier liner, and a water resistant zipper. Very little is going to get through this thing. The internal area holds a 2.8 liters of storage which is enough to hold a knife, the Uncharted Supply Co Triage Kit, some lunch, snack bars, my dog’s leash and a couple of other items. You can easily strap a jacket and an additional water bottle to the back of the pack and still have room to fill up both of the water bottle pouches.

The molle straps on the side will hold your pistol holster or bear spray. If you plan on using this to hold your holster or bear spray, make sure you practice pulling out your pistol or bear spray multiple times, even on a range, so that you feel comfortable with your set up. Practice keeps you alive in quick, fast reaction situations. I feel very comfortable with this set-up in the outdoors. When I am alone, I use the water bottles included from Uncharted Supply Co. When I am with my pup, I upgrade to larger water bottles to carry extra water for me and the pup. I oftentimes stow a third bottle inside the Park Pack.

Gamakatsu® Prepares to Further Dominate Crappie Coast to Coast

Gamakatsu, the longtime leader in hooks for everything from bluegills to blue marlin, has recognized the increasing importance and popularity of the crappie market. Gamakatsu teamed up with crappie legend Wally Marshall and his “Mr. Crappie” brand, the leading name in the crappie world, to design the Gamakatsu Mr. Crappie Premium Stiletto and Sticker hooks.

“Gamakatsu has dominated the bass fishing world for many years,” Marshall said. “Now we’re bringing that same focus to the crappie world, introducing the strongest and sharpest light wire crappie hooks on the planet, designed by yours truly.”

The Stiletto hook design is perfect for fishing live or dead bait due to its large gap for increased hook-ups and special bend with an acute angle providing better holding power, locking fish in place when hooked. The hooks are made from light, super-strong wire and are available in sizes from 6 through 1/0 for various applications.

The Sticker is a traditional Aberdeen-style hook that utilizes Gamakatsu’s premium grade of high carbon steel and features a perfectly conical point unequaled in sharpness. They come in gold, red and NS black, available in sizes 4 through 1/0.

“Hooks are the most important equipment in your boat,” Marshall said. “If they’re not super-sharp and super-strong, anglers will miss fish or lose fish. With these premium hooks by Gamakatsu, anglers will minimize those issues.” Switching to these technologically superior hooks will put more fish in the boat, whether fishing in tournaments, for fun, or putting fish on the table.”

GUN UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES ONLINE SCOPE RING FINDER TOOL

Gun University Provides Free Scope Ring Finder Tool to Determine Fit, Availability, Pricing

NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 25, 2022 — For hunters and sportsmen, finding the right combination rings, base, and lens caps for a rifle/scope combination has been a baffling and time-consuming ordeal. But a new free online tool from Gun University promises to make such hassles a thing of the past.

To use the Scope Ring Finder tool, all you need to do is select your scope in the drop down, then your rifle, and finally your intended interface.  Once this is complete, the Scope Ring Finder will not only find the right rings, bases and lens cap that will work with your rifle/scope combination, it will also find the cheapest online price.

No longer do hunters and long-range enthusiasts need to research the diameters of their scopes, judge the height, and select a base that will work with the rifle and the selected rings.  This tool takes that hassle away.  Plus, with the feature of finding the lowest price online, it will not only save you time but also money as well.   You can check it out here

The Scope Ring Finder Tool is just the latest addition to Gun University, a website dedicated to education, reviews, and firearm-related news and laws and was created by a specialized team. Ryan Cleckner, the site’s cofounder, is a former special-operations sniper and firearms industry attorney who said this type of resource has been a long time coming.

“I’ve been in the same place as countless other rifle shooters, having to guess which rings, base, and scope caps are the right fit for our rifle and scope. Not anymore. We’ve automated a system to figure this out for them, and it even finds the cheapest price online from major retailers,” Cleckner said.

New at ICAST 2022: Smith’s Insulated Fish and Bait Bags

Multifunctional Bags Keep Bait Fresh, Fish Cool

Whether chasing crappies or cobia, walleyes or wahoo, all anglers share two common needs: live bait must be frisky, and fish harvested for the table must be kept cold. Smith’s Consumer Products – the Edge Experts since 1886 – addresses both of these needs with a full lineup of heavy-duty, insulated fish and bait bags that make their debut at ICAST 2022.

Each of Smith’s insulated bait and fish bags is built for long-term performance in both fresh- and saltwater. Every bag is constructed from heavy-duty, washable, marine-grade tarpaulin both inside and out, enclosing a half-inch of dense, closed-cell insulation that keeps the cold in – and the heat out. Non-corrosive zippers and pulls promote durability and long life, while integrated drain ports keep your catch fresh and ready for action at the cleaning table. Adjustable shoulder straps or multiple sets of handles make it easy to carry bags loaded with bait or fresh fish. Select one of four different insulated bait and fish bags based on your needs – and the size of your catch.

With a capacity of 35 quarts, Smith’s Mr. Crappie Chiller Insulated 30-inch Bait and Fish Bag includes thoughtful design insights from Wally Marshall to address the needs of crappie and panfish anglers. A universal aerator mounting loop and a leak-resistant hose port ensure that live bait remains cool and well-oxygenated. An adjustable, padded shoulder strap makes loading and carrying your catch or bait a breeze. This insulated bag measures 30 inches by 15 inches with an 8-inch, gusseted, sit-flat bottom to keep it upright in the boat or the truck. Smith’s Mr. Crappie Chiller Insulated 30-inch Bait and Fish Bag has an MSRP of $169.99 and is featured in the Hard and Soft Coolers Category in the ICAST 2022 New Product Showcase.

When targeting larger freshwater fish or for handling limit catches from multiple anglers, step up to Smith’s Insulated 36-inch Bait and Fish Bag. With a capacity of 50 quarts, this insulated bag also includes a universal aerator mounting loop and a leak-resistant hose port as well as an adjustable, padded shoulder strap. Measuring 36 inches by 18 inches with a 10-inch gusseted, sit-flat bottom, Smith’s Insulated 36-inch Bait and Fish Bag has an MSRP of $199.99.

ICAST Once Again Stands Atop the Sportfishing World as the Industry’s Largest Business Event

More than 12,000 representatives from the global recreational fishing industry were in attendance

Recreational fishing’s future continues to look bright, as the industry’s largest trade show, ICAST, returned to form this week. In total, more than 12,000 exhibitors, buyers and media converged on the Orange County Convention Center to showcase the widest array of fishing gear, tackle, accessories and apparel available in one location.

ICAST is produced by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), a national, non-profit trade association made up of more than 800 member companies and organizations who share a stake in promoting sportfishing for community and commerce.

“The show was fantastic,” said ASA President Glenn Hughes. “The show exceeded our expectations, and most importantly exceeded exhibitors’ expectations. Everyone I spoke with said how wonderful the show was and how the energy is as good as it has ever been. The fishing tackle industry is alive and well and looking strong for the future.”

“When you think about it, the fishing industry is born out of ideas,” said ASA Chairman of the Board Jesse Simpkins, VP of Marketing, St. Croix Rod. “At ICAST, there are new products and new ideas at every booth. This is the best place to showcase them. Most of the major retailers already have meetings set up with the big guys when they come here. But they’re also looking for that 10×10 booth that may have a unique product they can blow up into the next multimillion dollar seller.”

Interview with Marc Vayn, CEO of American Technology Network (ATN)

Q: How did you get into the business of night vision?

Marc Vayn: I was traveling overseas and I was introduced to several products that were available for import. I gravitated to the night vision units, as I knew there was a market and there was nothing commercially available in the States. After a few years of importing night vision units, I quickly realized that importing someone else’s products was not the way to go and I set out to manufacture my own.

Q: What was it about this sector that interested you as an entrepreneur?

MV: With advances in technology, there was plenty of opportunity to offer unique products with advanced features never seen before, modeled after the cell phone market.

Q: How has the market changed since 1995 when American Technology Network Company was started?

How to Design Your Trophy Room

The room of memories is known to designers as either a trophy room or a game room. The space displays the best artifacts and keepsakes you’ve gathered throughout time from your travels and outdoor activities. Hunters can take their time enjoying the beauty of nature’s masterpieces while reflecting on the experience in their trophy room.

Hunting enthusiasts frequently discuss how to design their trophy rooms. Asides the benefits of your trophy room, the following will go through some of the architectural design features to take into account. There are countless possibilities. Keep in mind that a trophy room should show the owner’s passion and style while still being welcoming and cozy.

Make a Plan: The homeowner must first decide what the room’s actual purpose is. Will it be used as a repository for animal heads only? Will it be an adaptable family room? A framework such as a poster design for you from vista has to be put together once the main concept has been decided. The architect serves as the group’s cornerstone and provides a blueprint for the designer, builder, lighting consultant, and taxidermist(s). The trophy room consultant is the boss of all the experts involved. Think about the architectural elements you want to include or add to the space. What is the extent and scope of the collection of animals in art? You have to plan for all these.

Avoid the use of natural light: Almost always avoid using natural lighting. Mounts will be harmed by ultraviolet light, you will lose precious space due to the windows, and accent lights will be less effective due to the incoming light. The ideal strategy is to completely avoid windows, with the one exception of those that have a lovely view. Window film can be used to prevent most UV radiation.

tall ceilings make great spots for trophy rooms

Make use of double doors: Include double doors throughout your home, not just in the trophy room. There are stories of other hunters who had trouble getting their treasures through the entryway of their trophy rooms. Others did construct double-doored chambers, but their exterior doors were of conventional size. Additionally, double doors have another use. Making good use of that space could make the difference between people being impressed or disappointed by your collection.

Orange Screw Review

I have been using the Orange Screw for well over eight years now. We have used these anchors for everything from tents in camp to staking out the pup to holding down the blind in 30 MPH winds. Anchoring things to the ground requires the right tools and without question the Orange Screw has held up to everything we have thrown at it. Our only regret with the Orange Screw is the times in which we did not deploy them and lost the battle to wind.

Living in Nebraska wind is the order of the day especially in the fall and in the early winter. I have had some days sitting in the blind in which I had to question my sanity. I know that we would have lost the blind and parts of our gear if they had not been screwed into the ground with the Orange Screw. The Orange Screw is a high quality ground anchor Made in the USA of 100% recycled polycarbonate plastic. The Orange Screw comes in sizes Small and Large, and each package of these includes a transparent tube called the T-Grip Tool which slides over the screw threads when not in use and can slide through the round eye atop the screw to serve as a handle for screwing it into the ground. I like how easy it is to attach guidelines and carabiners to the round tops of the Orange Screw. Orange Screw even sells paracord specifically for anchoring items.

Specs for the Orange Screws:

Small

Weight: 1.8 ouncesLength: 9 1/2″Thread Diameter: 7/8”

Large

Weight: 3.6 ouncesLength: 12 1/4″Thread Diameter: 1 1/8″

What We Like about Orange Screw

These are not your ultralight tent stakes and they are not going to hold up or work in pure rock, but for just about anything else you need to anchor to the ground in serious weather, these are absolutely the tool you are going to want in your kit. We have used these for awnings, tents, staking out our pup, Miko, and most importantly our hunting blind. This year during turkey season we employed eight small anchors, one on each corner and one on each of the four guidelines of our blind. The morning started out calm, but we knew weather was coming in and come in it did. The wind picked up at 9 am and got steadily worse over the next two hours.  When we finally broke down at 1 pm it was gusting 40 mph and blowing a consistent 20 mph.  Breaking the blind down took all of our effort and the last thing we took down were the last two orange screws holding the last two guidelines. These are not inexpensive but they are worth it. We recommend owning at least two of the large and eight of the small screws in your gear kit at all times. Invest in a complete kit and case so you can always find them when you need them.  Orange Screw backs these for life with a strong warranty so this is an invest once and own for life product. Just don’t let your friends borrow them or you may not see them again.

Gamakatsu’s New Power Drop Series

Gamakatsu®, the industry leader in fresh and saltwater hooks and terminal tackle, introduces their new ingenious Power Drop series. The Power Drop is perfectly engineered to keep a variety of baits just off the bottom and flawlessly performs as they move naturally in and out of cover.

The Power Drop series is uniquely built around a solid ring that connects the premium hook, swivel and a 3.5-inch dropper wire. The Power Drop series design results in the bait presented naturally just above the bottom, allowing perfect strike and hooksets on predator fish.

Once the lure is down, anglers will fish it just as they would a basic Texas rig, jig, or punch bait. Using the dropper wire at full length keeps bait above mud and silt. If anglers want to hug the bottom even more, simply shorten the stealthy, black-finish dropper wire. Size the weight to fishing conditions and style technique to keep baits in the ideal position. For added commotion to fire up fish, try adding two weights to the wire for increased noise and attraction. Three different models are available, each featuring a different premium Gamakatsu hook. The premium Gamakatsu swivel completes each rig to prevent line twists.

The Superline EWG is considered the gold standard in high-performance wide-gap hook designs; this option features our Superline EWG 744XX series hooks. The Superline Offset Round option offers a larger bite area that’s perfect for any worm presentation. It features the Superline Round Bend 3984XX series hooks. The G-Finesse Hybrid Worm’s unique feature here is the distinctive acute hook angle, designed to align baits perfectly. It features the G-Finesse Hybrid Worm 3622XX series hooks.

NEW at ICAST 2022: Innovative Shimano Lures for Bass Anglers

Technologically Advanced Swimbaits and Spinnerbaits Target Trophy Fish

Serious bass anglers pursuing championship-caliber fish need every advantage to secure victory. At ICAST 2022, Shimano introduces two highly refined lures – the ARMAJOINT 190SF FLASH BOOST swimbait and the Swagy Strong family of spinnerbaits – designed to tip the odds in every angler’s favor and put trophy bass in the boat.

ARMAJOINT 190SF FLASH BOOST

Shimano’s unique ARMAJOINT 190SF solves the challenges of casting a big jointed swimbait in search of trophy fish. Lure engineers leverage Shimano’s proprietary all-new ARMA BOOST technology to significantly increase casting distance and accuracy by reducing unnecessary air resistance and the chances of the lure spinning during flight. As the angler casts the lure, ARMA BOOST technology facilitates the lure to disconnect from an internal magnet and forces the body to fold into its compact shape. Once the lure hits the water, the lure’s body reengages with the magnet to create a smooth and natural swimming action. ARMAJOINT also features Shimano’s proprietary FLASH BOOST technology that constantly emits a fish-attracting flash during the retrieve — even on the pause — by suspending a reflective foil on micro springs to mimic the flashing behavior of an injured baitfish. The ARMAJOINT 190SF is a versatile lure that can be retrieved fast or slow, enabling anglers to vary their retrieve depending on the situation. The ARMAJOINT will normally swim in an S-pattern, but the bait will not flare out when stopped due to the fold in its body. Anglers can slow the retrieve and pause the ARMAJOINT 190SF to capitalize on the lure’s natural slow-rising action. Designed with purpose by leveraging innovation and technology, the ARMAJOINT 190SF improves angler performance while drawing strikes from tournament-winning bass. Each ARMAJOINT 190SF weighs 1 ⅞ oz (73 g), is 7 ½-inches (190 mm) in length, and dives up to 1 foot on the retrieve. Available in five colors – Ghost Trout, S Gizzard, ST BW Shad, N Hasu and ST Purple – ARMAJOINT 190SF FLASH BOOST has an MSRP of $42.99.

Chestnut Hill Outdoors Top Picks for Northern Habitats

Climate can have a considerable influence on plant growth and productivity. When planting mast orchards to increase the number and diversity of wildlife species on a property, it’s important to select varieties best suited to the local climate and environment. Northern areas are naturally colder, with shorter growing seasons. Chestnut Hill Outdoors has a diverse array of hard and soft mast-producing trees and shrubs that will produce in a range of habitats, including some better suited to northern areas.

The first step in determining which species best suits local climate conditions is to consult the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map. Chestnut Hill Outdoors has already done that for their customers, identifying optimal zones for all their stock. They also check all orders to ensure plants are appropriate for their destination and vary shipment timing depending on the plant zone destination.

It’s also important to consider micro-climate. Variations in elevation, slope, aspect and even proximity to bodies of water can all result in subtler, more localized temperature variations.

The micro-climate of a low-lying pocket with a northern aspect in zone 6 may be closer to zone 4. Conversely, gently sloping hillsides with a southern aspect, where cold air drains off, may replicate warmer zone conditions.

The following are some selections suitable for more northern habitats, including zones 1-6.

Huk’s New Men’s A1A Pro Guide Pant Made By the Pros, Available for Everyone

Long days on the water call for gear that is up for the adventure, and Huk’s new men’s A1A Pro Guide pants are designed to withstand anything anglers put them through. With input from guides and avid anglers around the country, the men’s A1A Pro Guide pants are packed with serious features for the most challenging days on the water.

“Pants that are tough enough to handle the abuse I put them through and are light enough for wear in the heat didn’t exist until now. The men’s A1A Pro Guide pants design is the best I have ever seen. They were built with a true fisherman in mind,” said Captain Nate, Islamorada, FL.

The men’s A1A Pro Guide pants are designed to be durable without giving up comfort and performance that anglers demand, whether poling a skiff or fighting the tarpon of a lifetime. The pants are made for all-day comfort on the water, constructed of 94% nylon for durability and 6% spandex for stretch and comfort. “The overall durability of these pants is insane. The patch on the side is perfect for poling the skiff when chasing tailing Reds,” said Captain Ervin, Charleston, SC. The abrasion-resistant fabric patch is strategically placed on the side of the pants to withstand the wear and tear of long days manning the push pole.

Functional design elements are evident in six feature-rich pocket designs. The pants have cargo and zippered side pockets with drainage grommets allowing anglers to store their tools and keep them dry. Two zippered rear pockets allow for extra security, and two hand pockets for any additional accessories anglers need to carry. The adjustable hem will eliminate your pants from dragging on the boat or at the dock.

The fabric features a durable water-repellent finish, keeping anglers cool and dry. These pants also feature an ever-adjusting waistband for those who enjoy a long lunch break waiting on the tide to turn. Rounding out the men’s A1A Pro Guide Pant is 50+ UPF for sun protection, a premium zipper fly front, and a gusseted crotch for mobility. Huk listened to their pros, and these A1A Pro Guide pants are the result.

Ol’MAN’s Alumalite CTS and Multivision Climber Stands

Agility and versatility are paramount for the hunter to hunt whitetails in the woods successfully. Sometimes a hunter has to hit the ground and find a prime spot. Even then, the tree within the area may not have the correct treestand set-up, forcing the hunter to improvise. There are no better solutions to run and gun hunting situations than a lightweight, adjustable climbing stand. None beat the versatility of the OL’MAN Alumalite CTS or the Multi-Vision stand.

The AlumaLite CTS provides a multifunctional, highly-portable shooting platform for all-day comfort. The stand can be set up with the classic OL’MAN straight bar or the included reversible Gun Rest/Footrest to accommodate both gun and bow hunters. The stand features a 21-inch wide ComforTech™ seat, engineered for long periods as hunters await the perfect moment a buck passes by. A super-strong, lightweight oval tubing and an improved cable system make for an efficient and quiet set-up. The stand also features pivoting, spreading arms for secure attachment to trees of various sizes. The lighter-designed 18×32 in. standing platform provides plenty of space. Tubing-style foot straps provide for easy entry and a better grip. At just 21 lbs. total weight, the stand is easy to take wherever you go.

The Multi-Vision climbing stand is three treestands in one! It can be set up with the classic OL’MAN straight bar that is flat and compact. Or, hunters can use the included reversible Gun Rest/Footrest to configure the stand for both gun and bow hunting. The Multi-Vision Series boasts one of the quietest climbing stands on the market and remains OL’MAN’S top-selling treestand. With a 21-inch wide net seat and an overall stand weight of 29 lbs., it can be easily hauled into the most secluded hunting spots.

While OL’ MAN Alumalite climbing stands are reliable and durable, hunters need to always be mindful that having a strong, safe connection to the tree is essential. Routinely inspecting the cables that secure both pieces of your stand to the tree and ensuring the locking pins are in excellent condition can make a massive difference in the woods.

Fortunately, replacing the well-designed cables for your Alumalite climber is easy and inexpensive. The 46-inch replacement cable for the Alumalite CTS and replacement cable for the CTS Grand model are always available for separate purchases. Compatible with 2013 and newer stands, the cables feature a tubular-shaped loop that always slides into the support arm in the proper position, allowing easy insertion of the locking pins. Simply slide the cable to the appropriate adjustment hole in the arm based on the girth of your tree and lock in the pin. A replacement set of two Multivision Bar Cable pins are coated with rubber to facilitate quiet walking, changing pin positions or climbing.

“From the first time I met Troy, it was obvious he was passionate about the outdoors and would be going places,” Primos said. “No one works harder, anticipates better and can call better than Troy Ruiz! He can do it all with just his natural voice!”

Ruiz is best known for his career as a host on Primos Hunting’s The Truth About Hunting TV program. At the early age of nine, the deer hunting bug hit him, and Troy began taking pictures and video to share his experiences with friends and family. Troy’s love for the outdoors and sharing it with others motivated him throughout his career.

“Troy, you of all the people in the hunting world deserve this honor,” Primos said. “As far as that goes, you are not only a hall of famer in Mississippi, but you qualify for being a hall of famer in Canada, Africa, Alaska, Montana, New Mexico, California, Alabama, definitely Louisiana and every place in between.”

HHA SPORTS DOUBLES DOWN WITH THE NEW TWO-PIN TETRA RYZ SIGHTS

Two New Tetra RYZ Bow Sights Give Archers More Range and Easier Accuracy

Wisconsin Rapids, WI – Adjustable bow sight technology leader HHA™ Sports has blended the company’s decades-long experience with single-pin bow sight technology with the versatility of a multi-pin bow sight to unveil the Tetra RYZ and Tetra Max RYZ bow sights. The new Tetra RYZ sights combine a multi-pin sight into a single-pin frame, all with the adjustability and ease of use you’d expect from HHA Sports sights.

“We’ve found there is a lot of demand for an adjustable bow sight that combines the versatility of a multi-pin sight, and the ease of a single-pin sight,” said Chris Hamm, Co-Owner and VP of Operations at HHA Sports. “What we came up with is the new Tetra RYZ, a sight that both hunters and 3-D shooters should be very excited about. What we’ve found is that this new sight makes sighting in easier than ever, and it opens up an archer’s comfortable range. Our customer’s asked, and I am happy to say that we’ve delivered.”

The HHA Sports Tetra RYZ and Tetra MAX RYZ sights have two pins contained within a single-pin structure. The top pin is green and the bottom pin comes in your choice of red or yellow. You sight in the top pin at 20 and 60 yards, and the bottom pin is automatically sighted in. Choose from a .010, .019-inch diameter pin that, as you would expect, uses HHA’s A.R.M.O.R. pin protection technology for long life and durability. This is housed in a 1-⅝ inch scope with a built-in level bubble and a mechanical rheostat option.

The Tetra RYZ platform uses HHA’s famed Range. Dial. Shoot. Technology with water-resistant yardage tapes, and the RYZ comes with the longest-range yardage tape HHA Sports has ever developed. With the latest Long Range R.D.S., you get to-the-yard accuracy from 20 out past 100 yards with the simple turn of a wheel. The new Infinite Adjust Slotted Side Bracket makes that process quicker, too.

SPRO’s Rk Crawler 50DD – A New Smaller Crankbait for Deep Water

The new SPRO® Rk Crawler 50DD is a deep-diving crankbait that features the famous ‘hunting action’ of the original Rk Crawler but in a smaller size – perfect for targeting wary fish in deep water!

MLF Angler Mike McClelland designed the Rk Crawler 50DD in a smaller size that’s neither too big nor too small for most freshwater game fish. The Rk Crawler 50 DD weighs ½ ounce and is 50 mm long. It dives fast, covering more fish-holding structures with every cast. When targeting game fish in 9 to 12 feet of water, the versatile Rk Crawler 50 DD will quickly become a go-to crankbait.

SPRO crankbaits also include industry-leading #5 Gamakatsu treble hooks. The extremely sharp trebles allow for faster hook sets and deeper penetration. Each Rk Crawler 50DD is ready to fish right out of the package, and its quality components ensure a long fish-catching life!

Like other Rk Crawler baits, the 50DD is available in a wide range of colors for just about any fishing situation.

SPRO’s Rk Crawler 50DD is the anglers-choice for catching deep water fish. Its smaller size, wide-wobble action, and choice of colors are what’s needed to trigger a bite!
