Cody Loomis, and his wife, Marlie, have lived in Sitka since 2006. Cody was born and raised in Southeast Alaska, and is a 3rd generation life long Alaskan. He met Marlie in Elfin Cove when they were both working at a Sport Fishing lodge. Marlie was also born and raised in Southeast Alaska, and is a 3rd generation Alaskan. Cody has been a saltwater fishing guide since 1998, and started working on his fathers charter boat in 1988 as a deckhand. He started his own saltwater fishing guide business in 2001. He has over 25 years of saltwater fishing experience and it shows when you go fishing with him. Marlie is a kindergarten teacher in Sitka, and she takes the summers off to visit family and enjoy the natural beauty and bounty of Sitka with their two children, Grayson and Joy.
