Upland Birds

  5. Chukar Partridge: Native to Eurasia, Chukar Partridges have been introduced to various parts of North America for hunting.
  6. Gray Partridge (Hungarian Partridge): These birds are known for their distinctive calls and are found in grassland and agricultural areas.
  7. Woodcock: Woodcocks are known for their long bills and are usually associated with moist, forested habitats. They are known for their distinctive aerial displays.
  8. Snipe (Common Snipe): Snipes are shorebirds often found in wetlands, and they are known for their long bills.
  9. Dove (Various species): Different species of doves are hunted in various parts of the world. The Mourning Dove is one of the most commonly hunted species in North America.
  10. Band-tailed Pigeon: These pigeons are native to North and Central America and are often hunted in parts of their range.
