Today, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors who are committed to CSF’s mission to work with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping. 

Joining 19 other board members and 7 honorary board members are new members: Becky Humphries, CEO, National Wild Turkey Federation; Joe Bartozzi, President and CEO, National Shooting Sports Foundation; and Tim Phillips, Owner and President, P&S Paving. 

Additionally, CSF announced that the 2022 Board of Directors Executive Committee will consist of Chairman Simon Roosevelt, Principal, Olimpia Fund Management, Ltd; Vice-Chairman Richard Childress, Chairman and CEO, Richard Childress Racing; Secretary Francisco Bergaz, Managing Director, Bekun LLC and Bervest LLC; and Treasurer Ken Eubanks, CEO, Rather Outdoors, LLC.

Both the Elite 1800 and the Elite 3800 pack bags are intelligently designed to meet the specific needs of long-haul wilderness hunters. The main compartment, for example, features zippers along both sides of the pack so that the compartment can be fully exposed to access items anywhere in the bag without having to “fish around” and pull-out gear (unlike the typical top-load bags). Inside the main compartment are five mesh pockets to keep smaller items organized and within easy reach. Additionally, the bags feature a zippered top compartment for storing quick-access items and three exterior stretch fabric pockets with buckle adjustment straps for securing larger, more awkward items. Retailer Commitments Stronger than ever, halting online sales for the season

DKOTA Grizzly, a distinctly crafted Midwestern men’s lifestyle apparel brand, announces its Fall ’22 line and clean new brand look. DAKOTA Grizzly opened its Fall 2022 line for pre-bookings earlier than ever with 17 new styles and fabrics inviting its retailers to ‘Discover DKOTA’.

The St.Louis based Midwest Maker continues its steady growth with its core base of independent retailers, as it delivered over 99% of Fall 2021 pre-bookings and was even able to fill many in-season reorders.

“Our retailer’s stores were full and sell-throughs were strong,” said Rob Rosenblum, DKOTA Partner and Chief Brand Officer. “ To make this happen, we made the unprecedented decision to shut down e-commerce sales entirely during the supply chain crisis and we never looked back.” 

It proved to be a great decision, because of the strong ‘21 sales, prebooks for 2022 are up significantly.

Fairfax, Va.  – Gov. Brian Kemp doubled down on his support for the Second Amendment on Wednesday at an event where he said he’d like to bring constitutional carry to Georgia. 

“We shouldn’t have to claw back a civil right, a God-given right to defend ourselves. We shouldn’t have to argue the restrictions placed on government of four simple words ‘shall not be infringed.’ However, people who hate freedom persist, so 21 states have made America safer by passing constitutional carry,” said NRA Vice President Lt. Col. Willes K. Lee.  “We’re pleased to stand here with Gov. Kemp today as he announces he will work to bring this protection to Georgia.”

At the event at a gun store outside Atlanta, Kemp also announced that Georgia will welcome the NRA and tens of thousands of its members in 2025 when the Annual Meetings and Exhibits returns to Atlanta. 

“The NRA will return to Georgia in 2025 because it’s a great state with tens of thousands of NRA members and supporters. We look forward to celebrating our freedoms here and gathering to strengthen the fight against the anti-gun zealots who wish to leave Americans defenseless.”

Kemp, who spoke at the event along with Former Congressman Bob Barr and other legislators and leaders, emphasized the importance of the Second Amendment amid the current climate of rising crime and defunded police departments.
