Unlike our regular shoulder mount bracket, this bracket does not require a stud to install it! Just screw the wall plate into your wood, sheetrock, brick, etc. When installing onto sheetrock, be sure to use good quality sheetrock anchors wherever possible. The other plate will just attach to the back of your beautiful animal shoulder mount, and slide down into place on the wall plate. This bracket is powder coated and rated for up to 150lbs, when installed according to our reccommendations.

Our install reccommendations to get the most strength for your shoulder mount is that you utilize a stud whenever possible. Only put as much weight on sheetrock anchors as they are rated for, to prevent your shoulder mount from sagging or falling.
