In mid 2018 I decided to take to plunge into outfitting with Grandpa Judd acting as a consultant. Without further a due I present to you Phantom Ridge Outfitters. This new name business is built on the foundation of Grandpa Judd’s previous Outfitting business Iowa Trophy Whitetail Outfitters. I have been fortunate enough to build my business with his contacts and relationships Grandpa spent twenty five years making.

Shortly after, each log was labeled, deconstructed, floated up through Newton Lake to Fall Lake and put back together, like a complex jigsaw puzzle. Can you imagine the planning and the work to accomplish this?

Your hosts Tom and BJ Gray grew up in the area you will fish in. Tom has fished the river system since the early 1970's. Starting a reindeer herd in the early 1980's put Tom in rural Alaska year around.
