Gold Tip®, Bee StingerÔ Archers Win Three Divisions at ASA Classic Championship

Gold Tip®, an industry leader in carbon arrows and bolts, along with Bee StingerÔ, maker of the most advanced line of stabilizers and side bars for bowhunting and target archery, congratulate team archers for their impressive performances at the ASA Delta McKenzie Classic Championship in Cullman, Alabama. Team archers recorded three divisional first place wins, as well as multiple other top podium finishes at the championship match.

With arguably one of the most impressive comebacks in ASA history, pro staffer Kyle Douglas clawed his way from 20th place to win the Men’s Known Pro division. Kyle’s impressive come-from-behind win was a result of shooting 18 out of 20 12s on day two and dominating the shoot-off. His impressive performance also awarded him the coveted Shooter of the Year title. Throughout the match, Douglas shot his Gold Tip X-Cutters.

Elsewhere in competition, teammate Keith Ahlstrom took home his first Pro win in the Senior Pro Unknown division. Meanwhile Gold Tip shooters swept the Senior Pro Known class, with Chad Hilburn also taking home his first ever Pro win. He was followed by teammate Randy Morocco in second place and Paul Penrod in third place. In the Men’s Open Pro, Gold Tip archer Levi Morgan took second place.
