The patented BIG GAME SKINNER with its perfect companion knife; the MANŌ, make this the ultimate field dressing knife set. Once you experience these knives in the field, you will never go back to traditional knives or traditional field dressing.
The Big Game Skinner's innovative design provides a faster and cleaner way to process game. The hook design splits up to 3" of hide from the inside out, separating the hair while making a precision cut. The blade also spins 360-degrees around the leg to open the hide and pop the joint. The convex blade at the bottom of the knife was designed after the Alaskan Ulu knife. With the knife housing laying against the flesh, the blade is elevated just the right amount to make the knife a guided skinner.
The unique and patented T-Handle grip provides complete control even while wearing heavy gloves, or with cold or bloody hands; you won't lose your grip on these knives. Since your wrist is maintained in an anatomically natural position, wrist fatigue is minimized.
With the hide split and skinned down, the MANŌ is the ideal tool for removing key cuts of meat and quartering the animal. With the index finger extended over the top of the blade, the knife is highly controllable, providing maximum precision.
The universal MANO housing is highly versatile accomodating 7 knife blades and 3 saw blades. The combo pack includes: 1 BGS housing, 1 MANŌ housing, 2 handles with survival compartment, each with extra screws, Non slip knurling grip, Phillips screw driver for quick disassembly when cleaning and switching out blades, 7 blades (4 for the BGS and 3 for the MANO), 2 blade protectors, a carrying case with belt loop and Velcro cover. The strong and highly durable aluminum knife housings come in either anodized or hydrodipped finish. All knives feature high-visibility coloring to help insure that they won't get left behind in the field.
