Often referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” Sporting Clays is an increasingly popular shotgun sport in which players shoot pairs of targets in various presentations to realistically simulate game bird hunting. Our beautiful clay shooting course provides the ideal setting as it winds along a wooded section of Kiowa Creek. It features 25 thoughtfully designed stations – including our trademark truck station – and is easily accessible by foot or golf cart.
5-Stand
Kiowa Creek Sporting Club’s latest addition is a fully automated 5-stand, an entertaining sporting clays game that allows for maximum interaction between shooters. Up to five people can shoot at one time, making it an exciting and fast-moving game. It consists of 25 targets shot from five shooting stands, with each shooter rotating from stand to stand. The 5-stand game utilizes eight different traps to simulate various game birds. Targets are released in a predetermined sequence marked on a menu card in front of each shooting cage. This game is particularly suited to groups of 5 to 15 people and may be reserved for a two-hour time segment for your private party or corporate event.
