One of the things we excel at is introducing people to the sport of fly fishing. Our guides are patient and know how to get new anglers off to a good start.
We can set up a "Learn to Fly Fish" trip based out of the following areas: Redding, Red Bluff, Burney, Mt Shasta City, Fall River Mills, and Sacramento, California.
Our "Learn to Fly Fish" trips include everything you need for a day of fly fishing. We provide the rods, reels, flies, and all of the other terminal tackle. If you don't have waders and boots, that's no problem! We rent quality waders and boots for $25/day for adults and kid's rentals are free!
Our beginner anglers come in two main types. Some are focused on catching fish their first day and others want a thorough introduction to the gear and techniques so they can become a true "DIY" fly fisher. Our guides recognize the difference and are happy to put on their instructional hat or their guide hat depending on our guest's preferences.
