NWTF Announces Corporate Conservation Circle

EDGEFIELD, S.C.—The National Wild Turkey Federation is proud to announce the inception of its Corporate Conservation Circle, which recognizes the monumental financial support of the organization’s valuable corporate partners.

The combination of corporate sponsorship and marketing dollars spent with the NWTF are vital to the organization’s mission delivery.

While the NWTF has previously recognized corporate partnership support in various ways over the course of its history, it has never been formally compiled into a full-fledge program, until now.

The NWTF Corporate Conservation Circle recognizes financial support through contracted marketing and corporate sponsorship programs, which is separate from the NWTF’s philanthropic Major Donor program.

“We are extremely honored to recognize the support of our corporate partners,” said Natalia Daniels, NWTF national director of corporate relations and licensing. “We could not have accomplished all we have for conservation and our hunting heritage without them. We are forever grateful to these industry leaders who continue to help fund NWTF’s ever-important mission.”

At its 46th annual Convention and Sport Show, the NWTF formally acknowledged the 64 “inaugural class” companies for more than $37 million in support, collectively, invested in contract marketing and sponsorships with NWTF.

The Corporate Conservation Circle is comprised of three major tiers, including Core Level, Legacy Level and Elite Level, each with their respective giving categories.

About the National Wild Turkey Federation

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys. To succeed, the NWTF stood behind science-based conservation and hunters’ rights. Today, the NWTF is focused on the future of hunting and conservation through its Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative. Since 2012, this 10-year initiative has already eclipsed goals of conserving or enhancing more than 4 million acres of essential wildlife habitat, recruiting or retaining more than 1.5 million hunters and opening access to more than 500,000 acres for hunting and other recreation opportunities. This critical work will continue to impact wildlife habitat and our great outdoors in the final years of the initiative.
