Starting Point: Highway 132 begins near the city of Longueuil, which is located just south of Montreal.

Montreal to Quebec City: From Longueuil, Highway 132 follows the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, passing through several suburbs and towns, including Boucherville, Varennes, Contrecoeur, and Sorel-Tracy. Continuing east, it reaches the city of Trois-Rivières, a historic city with a vibrant downtown area and various cultural attractions.

Quebec City to Rimouski: Leaving Quebec City, Highway 132 follows the picturesque shoreline of the Saint Lawrence River, passing through charming towns such as Montmagny, Rivière-du-Loup, and La Pocatière. The route offers stunning views of the river and opportunities to explore historical sites, including the Rivière-du-Loup waterfront and the impressive Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.

Rimouski to Gaspé: As Highway 132 continues east, it enters the scenic Gaspé Peninsula. This stretch of the route offers breathtaking coastal vistas, charming fishing villages, and access to natural wonders. Highlights include Forillon National Park, where you can hike trails, visit lighthouses, and witness stunning views of cliffs and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Gaspé to Matane: Continuing along Highway 132, you'll encounter more scenic landscapes and coastal towns, including Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, where you can access the beautiful Gaspésie National Park. The route eventually leads to Matane, a town known for its picturesque riverfront and ferry connections to the North Shore of the Saint Lawrence River.

Matane to the New Brunswick Border: The final section of Highway 132 takes you through towns like Amqui, Rimouski, and Mont-Joli before reaching the Quebec-New Brunswick border. Along the way, you can explore charming communities, enjoy coastal scenery, and experience the warm hospitality of the region.
