CSF Unveils New Branding During SHOT Show Reception

Today, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF), America’s leading voice for sportsmen and women on both Capitol Hill and in state legislatures, unveiled a new brand identity. As the informed authority across outdoor issues, and the primary conduit for influencing public policy, CSF serves as an ambassador for the conservation community. In support of that mission, CSF has debuted an updated brand identity that will raise awareness, modernize visual representations, and lend itself to campaign development. The launch of the CSF updated branding coincides with SHOT Show, the nation’s largest professional event for the sport shooting, hunting and outdoor industry.

Established in 1989, CSF was created to protect all Fin, Fur, and Feather pursuits. To that end, CSF works on both sides of the aisle to inform lawmakers, educate the public, and provide science-based policy prescriptions. “While the work of our expert Policy Teams only continues to grow in importance, it has become clear that perceptions of our organization have not kept pace,” said CSF President and CEO Jeff Crane. “Thus, it has become a focus of our organization to modernize our brand identity in order to deliver our message to a broader audience, communicate the critical work we are doing, and further develop our industry and advocacy partnerships.”

The new brand identity was debuted at CSF’s reception during SHOT Show in Las Vegas; an event that brought together like-minded individuals who have a shared passion for the outdoors. Special guests included Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus (GSC) Co-Chair Governor Kristi Noem (SD); GSC member Governor Asa Hutchinson (AR); CSF Brand Ambassadors Julie McQueen, Dan Harrison, and Lucas Hoge; and other notable figures from the outdoor industry.

Elements of CSF’s updated brand identity will include new logos, print concepts and social media/digital visuals. As part of an overarching communication campaign, CSF will utilize this updated identity to further convey its track record of legislative success over the past 30 years. “We are extremely excited to share with our partners and the public this campaign that we have been hard at work developing for many months now. Our new identity will highlight the great work we are doing and will help CSF further stand out as the trusted voice of the American Sportsman,” said CSF President and CEO Jeff Crane.

Founded in 1989, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) is the informed authority across outdoor issues and serves as the primary conduit for influencing public policy. Working with the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC), the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus (GSC), and the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses (NASC), CSF gives a voice to hunters, anglers, recreational shooters, and trappers on Capitol Hill and throughout state capitols advocating on vital outdoor issues that are the backbone of our nation’s conservation legacy. For more information on CSF’s policy work, visit  www.congressionalsportsmen.org.
