The 3L Element Proof Rain Pants and Jacket have been carefully designed and built by hunters, for hunters. Designed to be the quietest outer shell available in a rain suit, Pnuma built the 3-layer (3L) technology from the ground up, or in this case, the high performance, 4-way stretch, waterproof/breathable membrane. The fabric has a 100% polyester interlock that keeps water at bay, then a 3M C4 DWR coating is added to take the waterproofing a step further. The result is a waterproof rating of 20,000mm and a MVP breathability rating of 15,000 g/m2/24h, which means hunters will stay dry, while not overheating.

The innovation didn’t end with the 3L Element Proof fabric however. The quiet, comfortable, breathable 4-way stretch jacket and pants have been equipped with full Aquaguard zippers, offering a lifetime of water protection, while the high-friction areas are protected by Pnuma’s Pnumaguard anti-abrasion overlays.

Pnuma’s 3L Element Proof Rain Jacket features a 3-piece hood, with an integrated visor to keep the rain out and cover a brimmed hat. Pit zips are easily accessible when the need arises to dump heat after a long hike to your tree stand or backcountry hunting spot. The 3L Element Proof Rain Pants are equipped with three-quarter length Aquaguard zippers on each leg, making them easy to don when caught in an unexpected rainstorm while out in the field. Lightweight and packable, the 3L Element Proof Rain Pants and Jacket weigh in at 17.6 oz and 20.8 oz respectively (based on size large garments). 

CAZA Camo Tech– The proprietary Pnuma CAZA Camo pattern was designed to incorporate macro shape disruption that utilizes large regions of light and dark patterns to break up and distort the human shape at long distances. Once you’ve closed the distance, or your target buck finally comes close to your stand, the CAZA micro texture disruption becomes integral to hiding the human shape. Utilizing small- to medium-sized elements helps hunters blend into the environment in which they are hunting. Lastly, depth and focal confusion is achieved by the CAZA pattern’s ability to break up the human outline, while creating a sense of depth, effectively fooling the depth perception and distorting the peripheral vision of wildlife.
