Young Adam Jordison is a self confessed deer nut. When not in college or hunting, he is shed hunting. The first evidence of a mega non-typical on the family farm was a set of sheds from the 2005 season. Both Adam and his dad hunted hard for the elusive deer for two seasons. But the closest they ever got was a far away glimpse from the road. Then, Adam was back at it, shed hunting in December of 2008. He was only able to get a little time on the ground due to his busy schedule, but it paid off. There, lying near a fence line were the remains of a deer. The discovery was a “heartbreak” for Adam, as it was the mega non-typical that he had hunted so hard for. It is speculated that the deer succumbed to blue tongue disease, as it was found close to water. The numbers on this rack put it in the top tier of all whitetails. 37 scorable points tally up a total of 101 3/8″ of abnormal inches. With a net score of 272 3/8″, there are only a handful that come any bigger!
