The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) is a state government agency constitutionally mandated to protect, maintain, and improve the fish, game, and aquatic plant resources of Alaska through the sustained yield principle.

ADF&G manages approximately 750 active fisheries, 26 game management units, and 31 special areas, and our operating budget is approximately $200 million annually.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is the state agency charged with conserving the entire range of wildlife within our borders, from big game such as elk and deer to smaller mammals, reptiles and fish.
