Brad and Minnie Dennison have made Sitka their home since the mid-70's. During that time Brad has worked as an engineer, public works director, and hunting guide and outfitter. Minnie has worked as a registered nurse in Sitka as well as a Para-professional for the school district. Together they have raised three children, all of whom continue to work and live in Alaska.
Brad has guided black bear and brown bear hunters in Southeast Alaska since 1985. Initially as an assistant guide for the legendary Ben Forbes and since 1990 as a registered guide. Brad and Minnie began conducting summer sightseeing trips in the mid-90's.
For many years Minnie has done the cooking on the sightseeing trips as well as the bear hunts. She has decided that she's ready for retirement and beginning in 2015 is content to let the cooking chores be handled by others.
Michael is an experienced guide and hunter, born around the Rochester, MN area. He grew up on there farm spending his summers fishing and falls hunting through out Minnesota and Wisconsin Areas. He began guiding in Alaska in 2002. He is an avid bow and rifle hunter. Michael has guided in Alaska for many years and has led 100’s of hunters, fishermen and women through the Alaskan wilderness for their adventure of a lifetime. The Eastern Cape is home to over 30 plains game species. These animals range from the tiny Blue Duiker to the large Cape Eland. The Eastern Cape is a Malaria and Bilhazia free area. Hunting is done all year round, the best times being from March to October. You can expect to have some rain while you are hunting so a light rain coat will be useful.

Nature Tours
1 to 2 hour Guided Nature tours are conducted between June 1 and August 31.
Please make reservations, as our tour guides do not work full time.
Discounts are available to school and conservation groups.
Tours include bison and other wildlife viewing, as well as birding and native plants. Let me know what your interests and I will arrange a tour for you or your group.
Self-guided birding and native plant tours are also available, but you will only have limited access to the ranch.
Bison Hunts
Bison hunts occur November - February. Meat Bison $3,600 (2- to 3-year-old bulls between 1,000-1,500 lbs.) Trophy Bison $6,000 (6+ years old bulls) Cull Cow Hunts (When Available) $2,500 50% deposit required for all hunts.

We are based in central Montana in the Big Belt Mountains, 60 miles south of Great Falls. Our hunts are all conducted from our base camp which consists of cabins and a new cook house, run by a generator and propane heat. The camp is located on the private leases we hunt. The elevation in the area runs from 4,500 to 7,000 feet and temperatures can vary from 60 degrees to well zero.
