There are many great outfitters and areas to hunt in BC which makes it difficult to choose one. We feel our operation is among the best for several reasons. It is a very large (2850 square miles), diverse habitat, encompassing the foothills/lowlands of the Omineca mountains in the South as well as a beautiful 30 mile long mountain range to the North.

There is low hunting pressure with high game density and most of the area has not been hunted by the previous outfitter allowing the possibility of being the first hunter into some of this remote country. We customize each hunt based on your preferences and capability. We often see over 10 bears per day in the spring and an average of 3-4 moose per week per hunter during the rut. Our wolverine range has some great goat hunting within a provincial park with 100% success rate over the past 10 years with no other hunters ever seen in that area.

Our work ethic, professionalism, friendly nature, and logistics is second to none. Prior to guiding and outfitting full-time, Ray also worked as a manager in big industry for several years. One thing to consider when booking a hunt is that some guide/outfitters manage the hunts but are not the owners of the business. Ray and Dan strongly feel that being both the owners and operators allows them to be more vested in the company and its success than simply being an employee. It should be a consideration when booking your next hunt.

Welcome to Otjandaue Hunting Safaris Namibia

Only 3% are shot on public land and that 3 % is shares by thousands of hunters. Our private land is well managed by minimal numbers of hunters and maximum number of game animals and higher quality.

We have a great young lab Nelly, that had an outstanding 2015. Clients are encouraged to bring their own dog as long as they are obedient. They help out a lot and are fun to watch work. With a group of 5 hunters, you’re group will have the Dry Creek Lodge to yourselves, however if you have a larger party, our lodge can accommodate up to 8 and we suggest booking two 3 day hunts.

Alberta’s liberal limits include up to 8 geese and 8 ducks per day with a 3 day possession limit to take home. We are a family operation with an excellent staff. HUNTING:

All hunts are controlled guided harvest. Available game we offer is: trophy axis deer, black buck, Polynesian wild boar, mouflon and game birds. We offer bow and rifle hunts- spot and stalk, fair chase, ground blinds, and tree stands/ towers.

Surrounded by the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range mountains, the Silver Spur Ranches of Wyoming consist of 55,000 deeded acres in south-central Wyoming. As one of the largest cattle producing ranches in the country, the ranch is also home to a large population of both fish and wildlife. Elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, black bear and mountain lions reside on these properties, along with great populations of wild rainbow, brown and brook trout.

The purpose of this is to show the limited but available opportunities to hunt private land in a DIY or Semi-Guided fashion. We all know what isn't on private land on opening day soon leaves the public land and moves to the private land. We are tired of walking all day and not seeing a thing on public land and if we do get extremely lucky, they are usually 1 or 2 year old animals that have not learned about hunting.

Animals soon learn that being on private land where hunter number are managed, is where they find after being bumped repedidly finally find safety and in most cases, greener grass, better water and better cover, their bare necessities. During the rut you can add more does to attract more and bigger bucks.

Hunting success is always a gamble with things that you cannot control biting into your success as weather, and season dates, and even getting licenses as in the west. Which without a license none of the above mentioned items even matter? Stats show that hunters that hunt public land have a 3% or lower success rate. Of course the states don't publicize that because they want the license money and don't really care where you hunt, they have the license money, and they don't need to provide any success guarantee. To them, they are Las Vegas and you are at the craps game, "if you crap out, then you are done", and they still have their license.

No one wants to walk around for a week with a rifle over their shoulder, dump money into guns, ammo, lodging, meals, travel, and not see a animal.

If I missed someone, then please check, the military will let you do that and they will even pay you and provide meals, lodging, travel for free.

For the rest of us wanting to bring home horns and meat from a successful hunt, private land hunting is the way to go and enjoy every hunt.

That is what we are about, increasing the enjoyment of your hunting.

Keep in mind that in reality the landowner that paid for his land, pays taxes, manages the food, cover, wildlife, and hunters on his land is due some level of payment depending on not as much the land as the animal that he can hold on the land, size and population density.

Now if you follow me this is fair in today's world, then if not go back to praying you will be one of the 3% success on public land not your normal 97% you will almost certainly be the part of.

Anyway back to private land, we look 12 month a year for these private land properties, then get them at a discount. Then we pass the discount on to the hunters. Sulurija Safaris is based in the beautiful Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, one of the premier hunting areas in Southern Africa. We offer a variety of safaris covering the majority of South Africa, including the neighbouring countries of Namibia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. We specialise in hunting but also provide families the opportunity to engage in other activities.

We are based in central Montana in the Big Belt Mountains, 60 miles south of Great Falls. Our hunts are all conducted from our base camp which consists of cabins and a new cook house, run by a generator and propane heat. The camp is located on the private leases we hunt. The elevation in the area runs from 4,500 to 7,000 feet and temperatures can vary from 60 degrees to well zero.
