Tackle Store: Extensive selection of salt water and fresh water tackle. Very knowledgeable staff with a lot of fishing experience in and around the southern California area. We also offer in house rod and reel repair as well as custom rod building.

In-Store Seminars: We have seminars at our location in the evenings on various fishing related topics.

Boat Work/Installation: We perform a wide range of work on clients' boats, including but not limited to supply and installation of bait tanks, anchor winches, and electronics. Also we specialize in fabrication and welding of stainless steel, aluminum, and starboard. Additional things we fabricate here are rod holders, tackle stations, dash boards, etc. etc.

Charter Boats / Breakaway Sportfishing: We run two 6-pack charter boats, a 37' twin-diesel Topaz and a 44' twin-diesel Pacifica. I have been a nature lover, outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman since I was a kid growing up in western Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Maryland.  I began drawing, painting and wood working in middle and high school and began working in clay in 2007.  I find that working in 3D is actually easier for me.  I don't have to try to make a 2D image look 3D, I can just work on the piece as it would be.  I love the lost wax process.  It is an ancient art that with today's modern materials allows an artist to do some amazing things.  

My family and I relocated to Monument, CO in 2012 where I currently work from my home studio.  My foundry is located in Denver where I do my casting and patina work.  I continue to love the outdoors and am always looking for the next adventure. 

I do original, limited edition work and am happy to talk through commissioned pieces from miniature to monumental.

Cody has been a saltwater fishing guide since 1998, and started working on his fathers charter boat in 1988 as a deckhand. He started his own saltwater fishing guide business in 2001. He has over 25 years of saltwater fishing experience and it shows when you go fishing with him. Marlie is a kindergarten teacher in Sitka, and she takes the summers off to visit family and enjoy the natural beauty and bounty of Sitka with their two children, Grayson and Joy.

Brad and Minnie Dennison have made Sitka their home since the mid-70's. During that time Brad has worked as an engineer, public works director, and hunting guide and outfitter. Minnie has worked as a registered nurse in Sitka as well as a Para-professional for the school district. Together they have raised three children, all of whom continue to work and live in Alaska.

Brad has guided black bear and brown bear hunters in Southeast Alaska since 1985. Initially as an assistant guide for the legendary Ben Forbes and since 1990 as a registered guide. Brad and Minnie began conducting summer sightseeing trips in the mid-90's.

For many years Minnie has done the cooking on the sightseeing trips as well as the bear hunts. She has decided that she's ready for retirement and beginning in 2015 is content to let the cooking chores be handled by others.

Michael is an experienced guide and hunter, born around the  Rochester, MN area. He grew up on there farm spending his summers fishing and falls hunting through out Minnesota and Wisconsin Areas. He began guiding in Alaska in 2002. He is an avid bow and rifle hunter. Michael has guided in Alaska for many years and has led 100’s of hunters, fishermen and women through the Alaskan wilderness for their adventure of a lifetime. Taking his life long passion of hunting and fishing, he specializes in Trophy Size Brown Bear, Moose and King Salmon adventures. past clients that Michael has guided continue to come back and can vouch for his expertise, knowledge of the area and guarantee of a great Alaskan Experience.
