Adams Lodge Outfitters is a family owned and operated wilderness outfitting business catering to the avid outdoors person interested in hunting and fishing the Flattop Wilderness Area of the White River National Forest. Adams Lodge Outfitters operates June through October in all three of the Marvine Drainages of Game Management Unit 24, lying east of Meeker, Colo, in the Northwest corner of the state.
Adams Lodge Outfitters offers summer fishing trips into Upper Marvine Lake, primarily to our Wilderness Camp, a comfortable wall tent camp that allows you the opportunity to explore the rim underneath the Flat Tops, fish the Upper Marvine Lake, or Main Marvine Creek while enjoying the Colorado Wilderness. We also will provide pack trips around the Flattop Wilderness, allowing you to see a lot of country or fish several high altitude lakes. We will tailor a summer trip to your group, let us know what you enjoy doing, pack; pack trip, full service camp, drop camp or equipment drop.
Our hunting season starts with Archery and runs through the first three Rifle seasons. We are able to operate in all three of the Marvine Drainages, and on the rim of the FlatTops, GMU 24. We will also try to tailor a hunt to your needs, we offer drop camps for archery, muzzleloader and the rifle seasons. Additionally we will do equipment drops and game pack out for the more individual hunters. All our camps are at least an hour horseback ride in from the campground, at elevations in excess of 9,000 feet, giving you immediate access to the White River Elk Herd, the largest in the lower 48. Whatever you chose, guided or drop, this will be an Elk Camp to remember!
While Adams Lodge operates the hunting and fishing, our cattle company, CJ Slash Commercial Cattle, will give you an opportunity to join us in our ranching life. Help us move, check or doctor cattle throughout the summer, we can always use the help.
